2009 was an incredibly busy year, which included (in no particular order):

1. Taking over our new HQ and the (rather damp!) Official Opening in May
2. The start of the Group's Centenary Year
3. Cub Camps including Bonaly (Edinburgh) and Lochgoilhead
4. Scouts camping at Loch Ordie, Glen Lyon and Craggan and the Troop winning the District's Camping, Camp Cooking and Challenge Hike competitions - some treble !
5. The Scout / Explorer Denmark Jamboree trip with 50 of us joining 20,000 other Scouts from around  the World for an unforgettable fortnight
6. The September Group Camp in Glen Lyon when over 100 members tackled over 100 different activities
7. The all sections Sports Night and Campfire in June
8. The first 24 hour "Round the World" sleep-over for the Beavers
9. Starting up the second Beaver Colony
10. Recruiting several new leaders and increasing our youth membership by over 30 youngsters
11. The Renunion Dinner for over 100 former members
12. The launch of the Activity Support Fund (see article in the January Newsletter)

A huge "thank-you" is due to all the Leaders and Executive Committee members who gave so much of their time to make everything happen.
