Started in 1909 the 10th Perthshire is a large and very active Scout Group based in the grounds of Perth Academy in Perth, Scotland, providing a wide range of activities for young people (boys and girls) from age 6 to 18.

Two of our Scouts recently received their Chief Scout's Gold Award from Group Scout Leader Chris Kirk. The award is the highest achieveable in the Scout Section. Group members can read more here.

Scouts Winter Night Hike & Camp |

On 27th January 2012, 9 Scouts, 1 Cub, 5 Leaders and a dad met at the Scout Hut at 7pm for a night hike and camp at Loch Ordie. They braved overnight temperatures down to -8°C, hiking up to Loch Ordie in the hills north of Dunkeld. After a cold night and a hearty breakfast of bacon, sausage and egg cooked on stoves they packed up frosty tents and hiked / slid back down.

To make things even easier you can subscribe to their RSS News Feeds and have the news delivered straight to your browser or feedreader (you can read more about RSS on the "full article" link below).
